• GPS / Location Data: Used to calculate your speed, distance, and route in real-time. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any server.
• Motion Sensors (Accelerometer & Magnetometer): Used for compass direction display. Sensor data stays on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data collected by the app is used solely for the following purposes:

• Displaying real-time speed, distance, and trip information
• Recording trip history (stored locally on your device)
• Providing compass and heading direction
• Speed limit warnings and voice alerts
• HUD (Heads-Up Display) mode for driving

3. Data Storage

All app data, including trip history, speed records, and user preferences, is stored locally on your device using Android's built-in storage mechanisms. We do not use cloud storage or remote databases.

You can delete all stored data at any time by clearing the app's data through your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

GPS Odometer uses the following third-party service:

• Google Play Services (Fused Location Provider): Used to obtain accurate GPS location data. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

The app does not include any advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking frameworks.

The app requests the following permissions:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Required for GPS-based speed and distance tracking.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Fallback location access for basic functionality.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to continue tracking while the app is in the background.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To display the ongoing tracking notification (Android 13+).

GPS Odometer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since all data remains on the device and no data is transmitted, no children's data is at risk.

Since all data is stored locally on your device and no data is transmitted over the internet, your information is protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
