How the 7-Day Free Trial works

Our free trial runs for 7 days so you can test the server, the network and overall performance for your workload. Trials are not activated automatically — you must talk to our customer care team, who will verify your details and activate the trial order for you.

KYC / ID verification (required)

To protect our network and our customers from fraud and abuse, every trial requires KYC verification. Before your trial is activated you must submit a valid government-issued ID for verification. Trials are approved only after the verification is successful.

Security restrictions on trial servers

For security reasons, all ports are disabled by default on trial services. Only the essential ports needed to access and test the server are kept open:

• HTTP (port 80) and HTTPS (port 443)
• SSH (port 22) for Linux, or RDP (port 3389) for Windows

Any additional ports can be opened once you move to a paid plan.

Payment & full refund

To start the trial you pay for one full month upfront. If you decide the service is not right for you, simply request a refund and we will return the full amount — no questions asked. We may ask for your feedback to help us improve, but a refund is never conditional on it.

Acceptable use & fair-use policy

• The trial is for genuine evaluation only and is limited to one per customer / organisation.
• Any misuse or abuse — spam, phishing, DDoS, illegal content or resource abuse — will result in immediate termination of the trial without refund.
• Trial servers carry no uptime / SLA guarantee and are not backed up — please do not host production or critical data on a trial server.
• Some high-end or custom configurations may not be available for trial.
• MegaHostZone reserves the right to approve, decline or end any trial at its discretion.
